Third Fenway Field Trip Marks First Loss

Posted by on

The Sully’s Crew would like to extend a warm thank you to everyone that attended our third Fenway Field Trip on Tuesday night.  It is difficult to compare the groups but it proved to be another memorable summer night at the ballpark.  The pre-game party on Remy’s roof deck was another fine opportunity for Frank to earn another awkward sunburn.  However, the pre-game party belonged to the German fans. They enjoyed every second of their nation’s monumental drubbing of Brazil.  Certainly no one was predicting that outcome.  Despite the humid weather and current Boston losing streak, the crowd was intensely invested in the baseball game all evening.  The crowd came alive just like old times when the Boston bats sparked a rally in the fifth inning to knot the score at three.  However, Conor Gillaspie’s two-run homerun around Pesky’s Pole in the top of the sixth sealed Boston’s fate.  What will the 25 man roster look like at the fourth Sully’s Fenway Field Trip on Tuesday August 19th against Anaheim?
