File Under: Payback

Posted by on

Cheap shot artist and Boston villain Matt Cooke of the Penguins started a fight with Evander Kane of the Atlanta Thrashers in the second period of their game on Saturday. Kane, a former first round pick with top level talent, is not known for fighting. However, Kane knocks out Cooke with one epic punch and adds another right on Cooke’s chin on his way down to the ice. Somewhere Marc Savard must be feeling a lot better. Probably best not to fight guys named Evander in Atlanta. Sully’s Crew throws out a standing offer to Kane to join us for a beers (on us) anytime.
