***We've now donated $1,000 to the Boston Resiliency Fund from the proceeds of this t-shirt***
With all of Massachusetts under a Stay At Home order for the next month (and likely longer), we are offering this t-shirt to help raise much needed funds for those most in need. To get things started we've preemptively donated $500 to the Boston Resiliency Fund, the City of Boston’s effort to help coordinate fundraising and philanthropic efforts to provide essential services to Boston residents whose health and well-being are most immediately impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. They are also working to help first responders and critical care providers.
Longtime customers have seen and supported our fundraising efforts through a series of our Believe In Boston shirts:
• 2013's One Fund support t-shirt (which raised an incredible $62,042.96 donation)
• 2015's tee that raised $35,908.38 for the family of slain Gunnery Sgt. Thomas J. Sullivan,
• 2018's Believe In Boston tee created in honor of longtime sportscaster Jerry Remy, who'd had a recurrence of cancer, allowing us to donate $5,000 to MGH and an additional $20,250 to the Jimmy Fund.
We are hoping that our t-shirts can once again make a difference in our community! Like those other benefit tees, we are donating all profits after the cost of the shirt & processing fees. It usually shakes out to be about $13-$14 for every t-shirt sold.
