Fogerty Rocks Baseball 2010 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

The Sully’s Crew loves us some Creedence Clearwater Revival. Volume #1 and #2 of their greatest hits are essential listening around our office space. But we can also get down with some of John Fogerty’s solo work. Especially his baseball classic “Centerfield.” In little league, I must have played that song in my head every time I ran out to my spot in centerfield.
We were pleasantly surprised when we heard that Fogerty would be honored by the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown at the 2010 Induction Ceremony. Perhaps a HOF class of the hawk Andre Dawson, manager Whitey Herzog, and umpire Doug Harvey didn’t have enough star power, so they had to bring in the big guns. The baseball HOF rarely does anything out of the ordinary like this, so we’re interested to see where this creative streak will take the HOF.
Check out a video of Fogerty rocking out in a flannel with the baseball bat guitar on stage at the HOF HERE!
