Georgia's Rainbow Pride Pin raises $4,806.36 in donations for Salem, MA based nAGLY

Posted by on

Sometimes the littlest thing can make the biggest difference. Earlier this spring, Georgia was drawing a rainbow. I (her dad) thought it would make a cute enamel pin, we had just been introduced to nAGLY (North Shore LGBTQ Youth) in Salem and the great work they do in the community for LGBTQ youth. We met with Executive Director Steve Harrington and pitched our idea to him, to make an enamel pin where all profits would benefit nAGLY. We then approached our friends Kate and Jamie at Roost & Company and asked if they would consider selling them too and also donate their profits from them, and they agreed. Last week, after just a few months of sales, we are super proud to announce that Georgia’s little rainbow helped us collectively raise $4,806.36 for nAGLY! Thank you to Roost, nAGLY, and everyone who supported our efforts through the sale of Georgia’s rainbow Pride pin, sticker and patch! Photo courtesy of Christopher Padgett.

Our White Ribbon "Believe In Boston" Tee Raised Way More Money Than We Expected

Posted by on

Alex Cora is wearing a limited edition Believe In Boston t-shirt that we created in support of Jerry Remy, which ended up raising a grand total donation of $25,250.  We asked Alex to join us in our presentation of the final payment of $10,250 to the Jimmy Fund, because his wearing of the tee during their telethon prompted a whole lot of people to order it, giving us a chance to make a much bigger donation than we had thought possible.  The first donation of $5,000 was made to the MGH Cancer Center, you can read about it HERE. The 2nd donation of $10,000 was made to the Jimmy Fund and you can read about it HERE. It took a minute for the dust to settle, but when it did we couldn't believe we were able to make this final donation of $10,250.  THANK YOU to everyone who supported this effort!

Sully's Donates $10,000 to the Jimmy Fund from Believe In Boston t-shirt sales!

When we heard that Jerry Remy was facing another fight with cancer, we were moved to do something.  This is a cause dear to our hearts - as a two time presenting sponsor of Rally For the Jimmy Fund, we've been involved first hand.  We've met with the doctors at Dana Farber.  We've sat with many of the patients and heard their stories. So like we have many times in the past, we created a spontaneous "Believe In Boston" t-shirt with the plan of donating the profits from their sale.

Sully's Donates $5,000 to the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center in Support of Jerry Remy

Since debuting our trademark phrase in 2004, Sully's has created a bunch of different "Believe In Boston" tees and donated the profits from their sale to various causes.  Most notably, in 2013 we created a special tee to benefit those affected by the Boston Marathon bombing, and we were able to donate over $62,000.  In 2015 we made a t-shirt to benefit the family of slain Gunnery Sgt. Thomas J. Sullivan, and raised and donated over $35,000.  Now, in 2018, after hearing that longtime Sox broadcaster Jerry Remy was once again fighting the disease, we've created this special heather denim 65/35 poly cotton blend tee.  We are proud to announce that in less than a week, we were able to donate $5,000 to the Mass General Hospital Cancer Center!
