Please Make it Stop

I cannot remember ever being so excited for the end of baseball season. The Yankees remain a game up on Baltimore with one game to go by defeating the Boston Red Sox 4-3 on Tuesday night. The Yankees were 0-58 when trailing after eight innings this season before rallying in the ninth. Derek Lowe (9-11) pitched two innings to pick up the W.
Tying a season high with their 7th straight loss, Boston fell to 69-92, ensuring they will finish in last place for the first time since 1992! Great job guys! Boston entered the game twenty-four games out of first place. The previous time the Red Sox were that far out was after games of Sept. 22, 1969.
How quickly can BobbyV be fired after the season finale on Wednesday night? No matter who the Sox bring in to manage, chances are they will not be much better next season. Allowing BobbyV to return will guarantee that they get worse.
